List of RAAF aircraft involved in the Kabul evacuation

The Australian Defence Force, along with other western nations have been operating an ongoing evacuation air mission from Kabul, Afghanistan. The urgency of this mission has been driven by the fast capture of Afghanistan by the Taliban.

The ADF has committed several forces to the evacuation including:

• 33 Squadron RAAF – KC-30A MRTT (1 aircraft)
• 36 Squadron RAAF – C-17 Globemasters (2 aircraft)
• 37 Squadron RAAF – C-130J Hercules (2 aircraft)
• 1 Battalion RAR

The RAAF has also used its contracted charter provider Hi-Fly to operate between the Middle East and Australia.

Many other nations have been involved in the airlift including:

• New Zealand
