Three USAF KC-135R tankers in Brisbane to support AUSMIN talks
Last night, Sunday 4 June 2017 saw the arrival of three United States Air Force KC-135R Stratotankers into Brisbane. These aircraft are here to support the AUSMIN talks being held in Sydney between Australia and the US.
The three KC-135s are:
- 62-3561 RONIN81
- 62-3552 RONIN82
- 59-1492 RONIN83
As reported by Grahame Hutchison on this 16Right News article, the talks include the new Trump Administration’s Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Sydney received the following aircraft:
- USAF E-4B 74-0787
- USAF VC-32A 98-0002
- USAF C-40Bs 01-0015 and 01-0041
- USAF C-17A 00-0172
